A Government Report Was Reissued for Its Sources
The Targeted Compliance Framework Assurance Review Final Report was reissued on 3 February 2026 to address identified corrections, after a September 2025 round that corrected citations and reference list entries. The report discloses a generative AI tool chain in its methodology appendix. No published source joins the two, and the control that transfers is a dated reference check.
Exposure Is a Task Mix, Not a Headcount
The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations report of 8 July 2026 puts employment growth in the most exposed quintile of occupations at 5.6 percent since November 2022, against 9.5 percent for the least exposed, and states plainly that it does not examine changes in tasks within jobs. That gap is where a team leader works.

Twenty-Eight Days Decides What the Tribunal Is Allowed to Hear
Section 66 of the SRC Act makes admissibility a question of dates. Undisclosed material is inadmissible without leave unless it reached the Tribunal at least 28 days before the day fixed for the hearing. Regulation 16(1)(a) of the Occupational Health and Safety (Psychological Health) Regulations 2025 (Vic) requires the psychosocial control review before any alteration to a thing, process or system of work likely to change those risks. An AI rollout that changes how work is allocated or paced reads as such an alteration, so the review is scheduled ahead of go-live.

A Direction to Consent Is Not Consent
A Full Bench of the Fair Work Commission held in 2019 that a direction to a worker to submit biometric data was not lawful, because he did not consent, and unreasonable, because a right to consent with no right to refuse is not a right.
